Details on how to stop an explosion during the Superbowl on the 4th...I do not think this is going to happen, as I was watching a Superbowl news report right before I went to bed.

2.5.2007San Jose House Explodes During Halftime Show

2007

SAN JOSE -- Neighbors
were settled into their homes watching the halftime show of the Super
Bowl when they heard and felt their neighbor's house explode after a
gas line was punctured.San Jose fire investigators say the
explosion occurred after the homeowner tried to repair a fence. He used
a post hole digger with a pry bar and struck a gas line two feet down.According
to neighbors, four people were in the house at the time; A mother,
father, and two children were all in the house but were able to get out
safely. The father got them out and he also ran to neighboring homes
warning them that he had hit a gas line and called 911. Firefighters
responded to the house when it abruptly exploded.The damage is
concentrated at one home where the owner was digging blowing off the
roof and a wall. Firefighters worked to keep flames off the house next
door and they evacuated homes on either side and across the street.PG
& E workers began digging up Walnut Grove Avenue right in front of
the house Trying to locate the gas main and crimp it off.One firefighter suffered a minor burn to the hand but investigators say no one else was injured.They
say this should be a lesson to homeowners to call PG&E to find out
where gas lines are located before they do any digging.
