Jody resided with her family in Lawrenceville, Georgia in 1994. She departed from their home during the evening hours of May 27, 1994 and planned to drive to her cousins' residence in Pontiac, Michigan. Jody was traveling alone in her black two-door 1987 Ford Escort with the Georgia license plate number FRY137. She called her family shortly afterwards from Erie, Ohio and said she was lost. She was given directions. At 6:00 p.m., she called a friend and left a message saying she had arrived in Pontiac and was okay. Jody has never been heard from again. Jody's vehicle was discovered abandoned and burned along a rural road in Ottawa Lake, Michigan, near Interstate 75 and two miles north of Toledo, Ohio, on May 29, 1994. The car was located at approximately 7:00 a.m. There was no trace of Jody at the scene. Authorities determined that the fire was intentionally set within the vehicle's passenger compartment. A body found in a landfill in Lucas County, Ohio in August 1994 was originally thought to be Jody's, but turned out to be someone else. Jody's stepfather said he believed she may have been abducted by person(s) unknown. She was not having any problems at home at the time of her disappearance and her family cannot think of any reason why she would want to run away. She had bought her car with money saved from her part-time fast food job. Her case opened 2018 by Psychic Brian Ladd. Some agencies may list Lilburn, Georgia as Jody's hometown. She previously resided in Pontiac. Michigan State Police 313-242-3500 briansprediction.com brianspredictionold.com copydvds.org |
