Hemphill was last seen in Oak Ridge, Tennessee on July 22, 2005. She was driving a beige- or bronze-colored 1999 Buick LeSabre with the license plate number ABA-676. She has never been heard from again. The car disappeared with her and has not been recovered. Hemphill left behind a note for her husband which alluded to their daughter, who had committed suicide three months beforehand. She didn't take extra clothes with her and she had very little money, and there's been no activity on her bank accounts or credit cards since her disappearance. Hemphill's husband has since moved out of the home they shared on Kingsley Road. He describes his wife a very social individual with an excellent memory. She was active in her church at the time of her disappearance, and enjoyed sports and bridge playing. Her disappearance remains unsolved. 865-425-4399 OR 865-425-3502
