Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Ferretti last had contact with her sister on July 15, 1987. She was living in West Palm Beach, Florida at the time, and usually spoke to her sister once every month or two.
Ferretti's sister became concerned after Ferretti's friends called her to say they couldn't get in touch with her. Her male roommate told her sister that she had left while he was out of town. Ferretti's sister filed a missing persons report in September 1987. She has never been heard from again. Few details are available in her case.

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are not known. The situation, uncertainties, and lack of closure or a funeral resulting when a person goes missing may be extremely painful with long-lasting effects on family and friends.
