Missing Person Photos

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are unknown. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons. In most parts of the world, a missing person will usually be found quickly. While criminal abductions are some of the most widely reported missing person cases, these account for only 2 to 5 percent of missing children in Europe. By contrast, some missing person cases remain unresolved for many years. Laws related to these cases are often complex since, in many jurisdictions, relatives and third parties may not deal with a person's assets until their death is considered proven by law and a formal death certificate issued. The situation, uncertainties, and lack of closure or a funeral resulting when a person goes missing may be extremely painful with long-lasting effects on family and friends. A number of organizations seek to connect, share best practices, and disseminate information and images of missing children to improve the effectiveness of missing children investigations, including the International Commission on Missing Persons, the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC), as well as national organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the US, Missing People in the UK, Child Focus in Belgium, and The Smile of the Child in Greece.

According to current statistics, 4,000 people in the United States go missing every day. Sometimes a child suddenly vanishes from the bus stop or the local park or even from their own yard or bedroom. Or a teenager doesnt return home after a walk to the neighborhood grocery store or a bike ride or a party with friends. Other times, an adult is mysteriously absent from their job or neighbors havent seen them for several days, and family and friends havent heard from them either.

Details of Disappearance Perez-Hernandez was last seen at her home in Richardson, Texas on July 11, 2016. She was in the company of her boyfriend, Luis Manuel Rodriguez, at the time. He is married but had been estranged from his wife for years. The couple had been secretly dating for some time, but Perez-Hernandez was trying to end the relationship; she told friends and coworkers that Rodriguez was violent and she was afraid of him.
On the evening of July 11, surveillance video at Perez-Hernandez's apartment complex showed her leaving with Rodriguez. Authorities believe she went to a nearby trail where she often worked out.
Her yoga mat and pink shorts were found on the trail, but there was no other sign of her. She has never been heard from again. When police checked her apartment on July 15, they discovered all her belongings, including her clothing, were missing.
Rodriguez also dropped out of sight. After Perez-Hernandez's disappearance, her sister called him and asked him where he was, and he told her he was in Oklahoma and would return to Texas to assist in the search. He never came back, however. The last time anyone heard from him was about a week after Perez-Hernandez disappeared, when he called his employer from Mexico.
At the time of her disappearance, Perez-Hernandez worked for Keller Williams Real Estate in Plano, Texas, and Rodriguez worked for a janitorial services company. In her last post to her Facebook account, Perez-Hernandez wrote that she had found out she was pregnant. Her family members and friends stated this wasn't true and she had only posted it as a joke.
Since her disappearance, there hasn't been any activity on her cellular phone or bank accounts. She's described as a very reliable person who was about to close on the sale of a home, and it's uncharacteristic of her to miss work or leave without warning.
Seven weeks after Perez-Hernandez went missing, authorities issued a warrant for Rodriguez's arrest for her murder. They haven't stated what specific evidence they had against him.
Photos of Rodriguez are posted with this summary. His date of birth is August 19, 1974, making him 41 years old at the time of Perez-Hernandez's disappearance. His vehicle, a black four-door Nissan Titan pickup truck with Oklahoma license plates, is also missing. Investigators do not know his current whereabouts but believe he is still in Mexico.
He remains at large. Foul play is suspected in Perez-Hernandez's disappearance due to the circumstances involved.
