Missing Person Photos

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are unknown. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons. In most parts of the world, a missing person will usually be found quickly. While criminal abductions are some of the most widely reported missing person cases, these account for only 2 to 5 percent of missing children in Europe. By contrast, some missing person cases remain unresolved for many years. Laws related to these cases are often complex since, in many jurisdictions, relatives and third parties may not deal with a person's assets until their death is considered proven by law and a formal death certificate issued. The situation, uncertainties, and lack of closure or a funeral resulting when a person goes missing may be extremely painful with long-lasting effects on family and friends. A number of organizations seek to connect, share best practices, and disseminate information and images of missing children to improve the effectiveness of missing children investigations, including the International Commission on Missing Persons, the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC), as well as national organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the US, Missing People in the UK, Child Focus in Belgium, and The Smile of the Child in Greece.

Sometimes a child suddenly vanishes from the bus stop or the local park or even from their own yard or bedroom. Or a teenager doesn�t return home after a walk to the neighborhood grocery store or a bike ride or a party with friends. Markings and/or Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Blond hair, blue eyes. Adams wears contact lenses. His nickname is Mike. He has a patch of dry skin, approximately two inches by four inches, on his right arm just below his shoulder. Adams has long toes and he is right-handed.
Details of Disappearance Adams completed his shift at the M-System Food Store on 12th and Mockingbird Street in Abilene, Texas, where he was a clerk, on June 8, 1987. He then returned to his family's residence on Peach Street. His sister saw him at 11:30 p.m.
The next morning, Adams was discovered missing and his bed didn't appear to have been slept in. He has never been heard from again. His wallet was found on his bedroom floor; he'd evidently left it at the house that morning when he went to work. His Datsun was parked in the driveway, blocking his parents' car. He would usually switch them around when he got home from work.
Two people Adams knew owned cars matching the description of the one seen near his home that night. One was a coworker at M-System and the other was a friend and former classmate. One of these individuals passed a polygraph test; the other's test results were inconclusive. Adams's other friends, coworkers and acquaintances all passed polygraphs. Adams was not involved with drugs and didn't associate with drug users in 1987, and drugs aren't believed to be a factor on his disappearance.
Adams attended Cooper High School, where he was in the drummers and the marching band. He is described as a talented artist and also enjoyed playing golf and tennis. He made excellent grades and graduated high school five months early. He was due move to Lubbock, Texas in three weeks to start classes at Texas Tech University, where he planned to major in architecture.
He was close to his family and it's uncharacteristic of him to leave without warning. Adams was declared ly dead in 1994. He is presumed murdered, but no charges have been filed against anyone in his .
