Missing Person Photos

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are unknown. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons. In most parts of the world, a missing person will usually be found quickly. While criminal abductions are some of the most widely reported missing person cases, these account for only 2 to 5 percent of missing children in Europe. By contrast, some missing person cases remain unresolved for many years. Laws related to these cases are often complex since, in many jurisdictions, relatives and third parties may not deal with a person's assets until their death is considered proven by law and a formal death certificate issued. The situation, uncertainties, and lack of closure or a funeral resulting when a person goes missing may be extremely painful with long-lasting effects on family and friends. A number of organizations seek to connect, share best practices, and disseminate information and images of missing children to improve the effectiveness of missing children investigations, including the International Commission on Missing Persons, the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC), as well as national organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the US, Missing People in the UK, Child Focus in Belgium, and The Smile of the Child in Greece.

According to current statistics, 4,000 people in the United States go missing every day. Sometimes a child suddenly vanishes from the bus stop or the local park or even from their own yard or bedroom. Or a teenager doesnt return home after a walk to the neighborhood grocery store or a bike ride or a party with friends. Other times, an adult is mysteriously absent from their job or neighbors havent seen them for several days, and family and friends havent heard from them either.

She has the following tattoos: a koi fish on her hip, a constellation on her shoulder, a phoenix on the left side of her lower back, and candy peanuts and popcorn on her right foot. Details of Disappearance Stislicki was last seen leaving her place of work, MetLife in the 25000 block of Telegraph Road in Southfield, Michigan, at 5:00 p.m. on December 2, 2016. She had plans to go out with a friend for dinner that evening, but never showed up and has never been heard from again.
The morning after her disappearance, her black 2015 Jeep Renegade with the Michigan license plate number DGH8957 was found at her apartment complex, Independence Green Apartments near Grand River Avenue and Halstead Road in Farmington Hills, Michigan. It was parked just eight feet from her door, with her purse and wallet were locked inside. A photo of the Jeep is posted with this summary.
Authorities quickly concluded foul play was involved in Stislicki's ; just eighteen days after her disappearance, they announced she'd been the "victim of a crime." In July 2017, half a year later, police announced they believed she had been the victim of a homicide.
Floyd Russell Galloway Jr., a former security guard at MetLife, is the last person known to have been with Stislicki; a photo of him is posted with this summary. Authorities searched his house in Berkley, Michigan multiple times and seized a mattress, computers, a car, and some floorboards among other things.
Through their investigation, they were able to tie Galloway to a prior sex crime, for which he was arrested in June 2017. He was named as a person of interest in Stislicki's after his arrest. In September 2016, two months before Stislicki's disappearance, he had attacked a 28-year-old woman running in Hines Park in Livonia, Michigan. He punched her, choked her and attempted to rape her, but she escaped.
In December 2017, Galloway pleaded guilty to kidnapping, criminal sexual conduct, assault with intent to commit sexual penetration, and assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. A charge of assault with intent to murder was dropped. He was sentenced to 16 to 35 years in prison. The only prior criminal conviction on his record was for drunk driving.
Galloway refused to speak with investigators about Stislicki's , invoking his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination. Authorities searched multiple places linked to him, including Hines Park and Stoney Park, looking for Stislicki's body, but turned up nothing.
In March 2019, Galloway was charged with premeditated first-degree in Stislicki's disappearance. He is awaiting trial. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance due to the circumstances involved.
Farmington Hills police are investigating.
