Missing Person Photos

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are unknown. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons. In most parts of the world, a missing person will usually be found quickly. While criminal abductions are some of the most widely reported missing person cases, these account for only 2 to 5 percent of missing children in Europe. By contrast, some missing person cases remain unresolved for many years. Laws related to these cases are often complex since, in many jurisdictions, relatives and third parties may not deal with a person's assets until their death is considered proven by law and a formal death certificate issued. The situation, uncertainties, and lack of closure or a funeral resulting when a person goes missing may be extremely painful with long-lasting effects on family and friends. A number of organizations seek to connect, share best practices, and disseminate information and images of missing children to improve the effectiveness of missing children investigations, including the International Commission on Missing Persons, the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC), as well as national organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the US, Missing People in the UK, Child Focus in Belgium, and The Smile of the Child in Greece.

According to current statistics, 4,000 people in the United States go missing every day. Sometimes a child suddenly vanishes from the bus stop or the local park or even from their own yard or bedroom. Or a teenager doesnt return home after a walk to the neighborhood grocery store or a bike ride or a party with friends. Other times, an adult is mysteriously absent from their job or neighbors havent seen them for several days, and family and friends havent heard from them either.

He has a pierced left ear, a scar on his left calf and a cap on his front tooth, and he sometimes gets eczema on his left ankle. His left ankle has previously been broken and he broke his nose at age fifteen and had it cosmetically reconstructed. Morris has degenerative bone disease in one of his middle toes, which makes that toe shorter than the other toes.
Details of Disappearance Morris was last seen at approximately 11:00 p.m. on July 30, 2007 in the driveway of his and his ex-boyfriend's residence in the 24000 block of Whites Ferry Road in Dickerson, Maryland. The men had recently ended their twelve-year relationship, and Morris's ex-boyfriend was staying in a condominium in Washington, D.C.
Morris spoke to his mother on the telephone the day of his disappearance and sounded angry and distressed during the conversation. He told her someone was coming to pick him up. The neighbor who saw him in the driveway said he appeared to be waiting for a ride. He has never been heard from again.
His family reported him missing on August 23 after he missed several of his weekly telephone calls to them, which is uncharacteristic of his behavior. When he was reported missing, the police initially thought he had entered a drug treatment program. The idea that he was the victim of a hate crime has been ruled out.
Morris was unemployed at the time of his disappearance. He is a talented oil painter and previously worked as a veterinary assistant. He could be working as a handyman, glazier, or landscaper. All of his personal belongings, including his truck and his pet dog, were left behind, and he has not used his cellular phone or credit card since he went missing.
Although there is no evidence of a crime in his , he is missing under suspicious circumstances and foul play is suspected. His disappearance remains unsolved.
