Missing Person Photos

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are unknown. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons. In most parts of the world, a missing person will usually be found quickly. While criminal abductions are some of the most widely reported missing person cases, these account for only 2 to 5 percent of missing children in Europe. By contrast, some missing person cases remain unresolved for many years. Laws related to these cases are often complex since, in many jurisdictions, relatives and third parties may not deal with a person's assets until their death is considered proven by law and a formal death certificate issued. The situation, uncertainties, and lack of closure or a funeral resulting when a person goes missing may be extremely painful with long-lasting effects on family and friends. A number of organizations seek to connect, share best practices, and disseminate information and images of missing children to improve the effectiveness of missing children investigations, including the International Commission on Missing Persons, the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC), as well as national organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the US, Missing People in the UK, Child Focus in Belgium, and The Smile of the Child in Greece.

According to current statistics, 4,000 people in the United States go missing every day. Sometimes a child suddenly vanishes from the bus stop or the local park or even from their own yard or bedroom. Or a teenager doesnt return home after a walk to the neighborhood grocery store or a bike ride or a party with friends. Other times, an adult is mysteriously absent from their job or neighbors havent seen them for several days, and family and friends havent heard from them either.

Markings and/or Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Blonde hair, blue eyes. Daniels has tattoos on both feet of plants growing from seeds; photos of the tattoos are posted with this summary. She usually doesn't shave her underarms. She has a brown spot in the iris of her right eye.
Details of Disappearance Daniels was last seen in the parking lot at Pensacola State College in Pensacola, Florida at 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2013. She worked there as a theater technician. She left her job early that day to go home, and has never been heard from again.
Her vehicle, a gray Toyota 4Runner with the Florida license plate number ECBOR, was found abandoned on August 20. It was parked in the parking lot of Park West at Pensacola Beach. Daniels's cellular phone, purse, bicycle and other belongings were inside it, along with a jug of water, peanut butter and some clothes.
An extensive search of the area turned up no indication of her whereabouts. The car had two fingerprints on the door that did not match Daniels or any of her family or friends; police ran the prints through a database, but were unable to identify them. Photos of the car and its license plate are posted with this summary.
Little evidence is available in Daniels's disappearance. Before she went missing, she had told her work supervisor she would be gone for several days, but didn't say why, and she didn't tell anyone else either. Her family stated it would be uncharacteristic of Daniels to make plans like that without telling anyone.
After her disappearance, there were several reported sightings of her along Interstate 10. One theory is that she became a victim of human trafficking. Daniels is described as an artistic young woman who also enjoys hiking. She was born in Dallas, Texas. Her remains unsolved.
