Medical conditions : Lee had a nervous condition at the time of his 1985 disappearance.
Distinguishing characteristics, birthmarks, tattoos : Caucasian male. Light brown hair, hazel eyes. Lee has surgical scars on one or both wrists. He has a scar on his right eyebrow and numerous scars on his hands; some of his injuries required one or two stitches. His nickname is Randy. Lee wears prescription eyeglasses with thick lenses and dark-colored frames.





Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Lee contacted his father for the last time on August 15, 1985. He said that he was planning to travel from Del Rio, Texas to Eagle Pass, Texas to search for employment. Both cities are along the Mexican border; the distance between them is about 55 miles.
It is not known if Lee arrived at his destination as expected. He has never been heard from again. His vehicle, a rust-colored 1977 Chevrolet 210-series pickup truck with the Oklahoma license plate number 851-1203, disappeared with him and has never been found.
Lee's family resides in Liberal, Kansas; that city's authorities are handling his investigation. Lee is described as being "obsessed" with religion at the time of his 1985 disappearance. His case remains unsolved.

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are not known. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons. In most parts of the world, a missing person will usually be found quickly. While criminal abductions are some of the most widely reported missing person cases, these account for only 2�5% of missing children in Europe. By contrast, some missing person cases remain unresolved for many years. Laws related to these cases are often complex since, in many jurisdictions, relatives and third parties may not deal with a person's assets until their death is considered proven by law and a formal death certificate issued. The situation, uncertainties, and lack of closure or a funeral resulting when a person goes missing may be extremely painful with long-lasting effects on family and friends.
