Missing Person Photos

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are unknown. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons. In most parts of the world, a missing person will usually be found quickly. While criminal abductions are some of the most widely reported missing person cases, these account for only 2 to 5 percent of missing children in Europe. By contrast, some missing person cases remain unresolved for many years. Laws related to these cases are often complex since, in many jurisdictions, relatives and third parties may not deal with a person's assets until their death is considered proven by law and a formal death certificate issued. The situation, uncertainties, and lack of closure or a funeral resulting when a person goes missing may be extremely painful with long-lasting effects on family and friends. A number of organizations seek to connect, share best practices, and disseminate information and images of missing children to improve the effectiveness of missing children investigations, including the International Commission on Missing Persons, the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC), as well as national organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the US, Missing People in the UK, Child Focus in Belgium, and The Smile of the Child in Greece.

Or a teenager doesn�t return home after a walk to the neighborhood grocery store or a bike ride or a party with friends. Markings and/or Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Brown hair, hazel eyes. Henry wears thin-framed eyeglasses. He has scars on one of his arms near his wrist. He may have a mustache or beard. His nickname is Bill.
Details of Disappearance Henry was living in San Francisco, California at the time of his disappearance. He was planning to travel back to his hometown of Rochester, New York in July 1998.
Henry was last seen driving his green 1985 Oldsmobile station wagon with New York license plates on July 9, 1998. His vehicle was discovered abandoned on Laguna Beach Road in Laguna Beach, California shortly after he left San Francisco. There was no sign of Henry at the scene.
He has never been heard from again. His wallet was found inside of his vehicle, but it was devoid of cash or credit cards.
Henry may have visited Disneyland in Anaheim, California on July 20, 1998, eleven days after his initial disappearance, but that has not been confirmed.
Another unconfirmed sighting came during the week of August 3, 1998. Henry may have been seen in Fontana, California. Witnesses stated the man was disoriented and requesting money to purchase food. Henry attended trucking school in Fontana prior to 1998.
Henry's remains unsolved. He enjoys playing pool, hiking and other outdoor activities. Henry has experience working as a painter, hanging wallpaper and truck driving. It is uncharacteristic of him to leave without warning or to be out of touch with his family.
